Gersound

Gersound is a renowned multidisciplinary artist celebrated for his dynamic exploration within the electronic music spectrum. His eclectic influences span open electronics, Deephouse in various forms, Afro, EBM, Nu Disco, Drum & Bass, organic Downtempo, and Indie Dance. This diversity highlights his ability to seamlessly blend genres, crafting immersive auditory experiences that resonate on the dance floor.

From an early age, Gersound was drawn to alternative music trends, a passion sparked by his father’s love for music. Immersed in rock & roll and pop vinyls, he soon ventured into the synthpop and electronic sounds of the 80s and 90s. Influential bands such as Underworld, Portishead, Chemical Brothers, and Boards of Canada were pivotal in shaping his musical journey.

In 2013, Gersound became an official artist for Reactable systems, performing in major cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco, Atlanta, and Las Vegas. His notable performance at the 2014 SONAR FESTIVAL further cemented his reputation as a live electronic artist.

By 2015, Gersound had established a residency at the stunning Hacienda Na Xamena in Ibiza, where he curated soundtracks for sunset gatherings. This venue also became the birthplace of his distinctive party brand, “RANDOM UNIVERSE,” known for its unique character and concept. His influence extended to Barcelona, where he maintained a residence at the iconic open-air club, La Terrazza.
